Mel Eves was a Professional Footballer for 14 years, from 18 to 32,  and mainly played at the highest level, until rupturing his Achilles tendon aged 27.

He was the PFA rep at Wolves for a few years and was called on to advise many of the players, particularly the younger players at the club. Following a spell as a Financial Advisor Mel spent 20 years as one of the most respected Football Agents in the country.

During this time Mel represented and guided many players who started very low down the football pyramid and assisted them to the very pinnacle of the game by playing in the Premier League and gaining International honours.

He also mentored many young players in handling the transition from youth team to first team football.

Along with guiding and mentoring  young players making their way in the game, Mel has learned from some of the immensely talented and experienced senior players he has had the privilege to work with and assist.

Some of the Players Mel has worked with are :

Twins Adam and James Chambers : Both went from the Youth team at West Brom to the first Team in the Championship, and then both playing Premier League football at West Bromwich Albion. Adam and James have both enjoyed excellent careers in the game.

Enzo Maresca : Italian Under 18 Captain arrived at West Bromwich arrived at West Brom on a free transfer aged 18. Mel worked with Enzo for 18 months and after breaking into the first team he eventually earned a dream move , just 18 months later, to Italian giants Juventus for £4.5Million.

Robert Earnshaw: Mel started to assist Earnie when he was just 18 at Cardiff City in Division Two then guided him through to Division One and then the Championship at Cardiff. Eventually resulting in a move to the Premier League to West Bromwich Albion. He is the only player to have scored a hat-trick in The Premier League at all three divisions of the Football League, The League Cup and the FA Cup and for Wales at International level.

Michail Antonio : Mel initially worked with and advised Michail at non-league Tooting and Mitcham when he was 18 years old, and during the early, influential years at Championship club Reading. He now plays at Premier League West Ham and has been involved in the England full International squads.

Gareth McAuley : Mel first assisted Gareth when he was 24 and was at Lincoln City in Division Two, his first club in England after playing in Northern Ireland up until then. Mel guided and advised him through moves to the Championship with spells at Leicester City and Ipswich Town. Gareth had a wonderful career playing in the Premier League well into his 30s for West Brom and also played 80 times for Northern Ireland.

Lukas Jutkiewicz ; Mel first advised and mentored Lukas as a 17 year old at Swindon Town which then lead to guiding him through his move to Premier League Everton for a reported £1Million. Lukas is a model professional who is now in his fourth year at Birmingham City in the Championship.

Mel has also assisted proven established players such as Fabrizio Ravenelli when he was at Derby County and Benito Carbone during his time  Aston Villa.

Igor Stimac : Assisted Igor during his time at Derby County. Wonderful player and a great captain and leader. Croatian International who has also managed his country. Current Head Coach of India national team.
